Hi to all .....

Yeah ..yeah ... yeah .... I know it's been a long time since the last update of my paper crafts .... so sorry ..... I've been very very busy lately....

Still remember the sticky note craft? Today... again by using the sticky note I'm gonna show you another craft that I've made by using it .... greeting cards .....

Here I used  decorative design sticky notes .... where to get it? I've got mine from the stationery outlet at my place ....just look around I'm sure you'll find it ... hey!... it's famous nowadays .....

Believe it or not ..... the smurfs and the butterflies are indeed sticky notes. But as for usual other than sticky notes .... you can use either decorative stickers or cut-out gift wrappers design or you can even print out designs by using your computer.

Sticky Notes Craft

Sticky notes .....

Have you ever come across sticky notes with shapes other than square? You can get sticky notes in heart shape, flower shape, car shape and etc....

There's lots of things that you can create by using sticky notes, such as gift card, bookmark or even flash card for kindergarten kids.

For parent, you can even teach your kids to trace and cut shapes using the sticky notes. Just paste it on another piece of coloured paper and ask your kids to trace all around the shape and then cut it slowly all along the line....

Why don't you try to make cards using the sticky notes like shown above...have fun with your kids....

But remember for kids age 3+ there's a special scissors for them to use.... it's made from plastic.

I use my sticky notes as template to cut shapes and below are the craft made by my 6 and 10 years old sons.

Origami - Pinwheel Flower

Today we're gonna make a pinwheel flower using origami technique......

It's easy and fun to make too. These pinwheel flower can be use as decoration on your card, envelope, scrapbook or even your paper gift bag.



You need to have 3 or 5 different sizes of origami paper.....plain or printed. If you don't have origami paper ....you can even use art coloured paper or gift wrapper. Cut it square and make it an inche or two inches bigger each time, so that you get 3 or 5 different sizes.

Tutorial - Bookmark

Hi to all my visitors ........


I love to read books and normally I would mark the pages that I would like to refer back or when I'm reading a novel I will defenitely have a bookmark with me to mark the page that I've stopped ......I don't like to fold the pages because it will damage the paper and I really don't like that.

Here I'm going to show you a very simple technique on making your own bookmark.

You can either use it on your own or even give it away to freinds and family. You can even use it as a gift tag on your present or on your gift bag ( remember the paper bag tutorial?).



What you need to have :

Art colour paper (120gsm)

Printed paper

Scissor

Glue

Paper hole puncher

Ribbon




How to do it ?

A piece of paper (I prefer a 120gsm colour paper)

Draw any shape you like

Cut out the shape

Use another coloured paper

Cut any design you like for the embelishment

I've made a dress using the coloured paper and printed paper

Decorate your bookmark as you wish

Use a stamp pad to highlight the edge

Punch a hole

Fasterned an eyelet

Attached a ribbon

Finish

Paper Bag

Hi to all visitors ......

Paper bag again.....

Today I'm gonna show you a very simple and easy to make paper bag.


Things you need to have:


A piece of paper of any size you prefer

A ruler

Glue

A paper hole puncher

Ribbon or string



Instructions:

Decorate it as you wish according to what the occations for.
